El Charro has a wide variety of Mexican aperitivos, entrees and deserts. They specialize in Carne Seca but we usually order chicken with mole sauce and their tamales. Everything on the menus goes with with a cervesa or one of their margaritas.
The atmosphere at El Charro Café is warm and inviting, with rustic decor that reflects its rich history. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
El Charro Café is a historic three-location Mexican restaurant based in Tucson, Arizona. It has been owned by the Flores family since its establishment in 1922, making it the oldest Mexican restaurant owned by the same family in the United States. It is also one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in the United States.
Absolutely. El Charro is a local favorite worthy of taking out of town guests for a taste of Tucson.
