Check in is at the main office near the marina. The staff is friendly and will issue you a card to use the bathroom and showers. Once checked-in you proceed up the hill to the campground area. Most sites do not have a view of the river but they are well-maintained and offer a peaceful retreat.
Site are level, well-spaced and spread out over the hillside. Full hook ups are available.
Bathrooms and showers are available in a single building located in the upper part of the campground. A well-supplied camp store is available at the marina. It contains camping and fishing supplies, food and beverages, and souvenirs. The restaurant was not open during the time we were staying a the campground.
Kayak rentals are available at the marina as well as other watercraft. River tours are also available through local tour operators. The area offers several hiking trails and opportunities for fishing and boating. The campground is located a short drive from Hoover Dam. Tours can be arranged through hooverdamticketing.com
