First Impressions

We had a great experience visiting the stadium on the University of New Mexico campus! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Navigating the game day rush felt incredibly smooth thanks to the heavy security presence and excellent traffic control—we felt entirely safe walking to and from the gates. The staff members were numerous, friendly, and highly proactive; ushers were even checking lines ahead of time to ensure everyone had the correct tickets and compliant bags. Just a heads-up: they have a strict clear-bag policy (I forgot mine—oops!).

What We Saw

Once inside, the amenities didn't disappoint. The seats were comfortable and came equipped with handy cup holders. If you have club or suite tickets, there’s a dedicated bar and concession stand up on levels 3 and 4. On the food side, we stopped by the Pecos River Cafe near Section 114. I tried the new Farm Team sandwich and my husband got the half chicken; both were definitely pricey (and a large draft beer will run you $15), but the quality was far above standard stadium food. Best of all, we got to see a young right-fielder, Zac Veen, play and were incredibly impressed—I have a strong feeling he’ll be playing in the majors with the Colorado Rockies very soon!

Highlights

Friendly staff and crowd, great stadium, close parking, fun mascot

Good To Know

**A few quick tips for future visitors:**

**Parking:** There is plenty of official, budget-friendly parking right near the stadium for just $7.

**Kids’ Area:** There is a wonderful children’s area just behind right field. It not only contains a large playground but also a carousel.

**Seating & Sun:** Try to grab a seat on the third-base side so you can catch some shade during the game. If the sun gets to be too much, umbrellas are actually allowed inside!

**Hydration:** Ticket holders are allowed to bring in their own bottles of water, which makes it easy to stay hydrated if you pack them in your clear backpacks or purses.
